11/9/19:Athletic, pitchers build standing 6-2, 180 started the game for Cal Poly and looks to be a projectable arm for the Mustangs to develop over the next couple seasons. 2IP giving up a run in the first striking out three and walking one; went on the attack in 2nd inning showing the stuff play up. Delivery allows him to stay tall with athletic tucked front knee controlling the actions forward and seeing the front foot land firm; arm works with easy actions through compact 3/4 slot being able to repeat it during outing. FB 88-91 having a two-seam variant that would dart arm-side using it on both sides of the plate. CB 80-82 with hard and tight 11/5 shape; pitch was late and short in bend being able to utilize in any count. CHG 79 straight; didn’t utilize it much and looked more like a show 3rd pitch in current usage. Looks like he’s got the chance to develop into a weekend starter.
