10/20/18 - Los Angeles Open - Five-foot-7, 190-pounds, medium frame. Dominguez shows some rhythm to his delivery where he keeps his shoulders level and lands inline and square to the target before falling off to the first base side of the mound. Arm works from a high 3/4 slot with quickness and some effort. Fastball shows life as it enters the zone on a straight path with inconsistent command. Curveball shows late with sharp biting action down around the knees from nearly the same arm speed as his fastball and 12/6 shape. Spin is tight on the pitch while working down. Pitch really projects given his current command.
10/20/18 - Los Angeles Open - Five-foot-7, 190-pounds, medium frame with some strength in the lower half and through the shoulders down into the arms. At the plate he starts with a slightly open, wide stance. Uses a slight stride trigger mechanism with hands above the shoulders. Quick hands with excellent barrel feel. Tends to get to the ball out front with present bat speed with a short path to the ball and extension through it. Line drive hitter with a middle-right approach but shows the ability to pull the ball with present power. Defensively projects more as a corner infielder presently. Footwork can get choppy and stop at the ball, but the hands/arm work from the left side of the infield. Exchanges are clean/quick with enough present arm strength to make throws from multiple angles.
