at De La Salle - Nevada commit; 6-foot-2, 180-pound build. Tall and lanky, good frame with room to bulk up. Bats left, throws right. Shows good balance at the plate with ability to recognize pitches, doesn't seem fooled on any pitch even when facing tough lefty. Crowds the plate, not afraid to wear a pitch. Has ability to generate some power with a short compact swing.

at Acalanes - Steinhauer, a University of Nevada commit, had a rough day at the plate, but the tools are there. Long and lean body and has some present strength. Starts with an open stance and has a toe tap at times and hangs with his stride foot at times. Either way, timing looked to be something that was giving him issues and he could not figure it out. His hand load is small and simple and he gets into a good launch position, he was just never on time. Has bat speed and quick hands, but you'd like to see him make better in-game adjustments at the plate. Defensively has a good arm and has good hands. Feet will need to get quicker and speed will need to get better. Steinhauer is a guy the Falcons need to produce if they want to have a successful season this year.
