Consistent strong and accurate throws to the bag from the OF. Arm action at 1B was more short, compact, and didn’t need extra steps to get off throws. Defense: Proper footwork in getting around and through the ball in the OF. Infield glove skills are present. Clean transfers from both positions but the ones at 1B allowed for quick DPs. Looks more comfortable at 1B. Run: 7.3 runner in the 60.

Hit: LHH with pop + feel for the barrel. Leg kick timing mechanism with a small hand hitch that helps generates bat speed. Showed power and the ability to lift to the pull side. Uses his lower half to gain momentum and ground on weight shift.

Arm: 80 MPH Outfield Velocity
Defense: Clean footwork in the outfield allowed for efficient transfer/throws. Moved well laterally to both sides showing no sign of breaking rhythm. Fielded all balls cleanly and showcased an accurate throwing arm during the defensive portion of the workout.

6-foot-1, 180-pounds, large, physical frame with plenty of maturation remaining as he continues to add strength. Shows a mature approach at the plate from an upright stance with high hands before a high leg lift trigger gets the swing started. Stays balanced through the zone showing good feel/control of the barrel. Had a loud fly out in game. An average runner, Hansen shows good instincts in the outfield when tracking balls.
