ACG Tryout - Relaxed right handed swing. Simple stride and balanced stance with hands held by the ear. Barth’s swing creates lots of backspin and carry. Clean and athletic infield workout. Threw 79 mph across the diamond and ran a 7.14 second 60 yard dash.

Defense: Athletic actions, moves laterally well, basic fundamentals need improvement, shows ability to stay at short, could translate well to the outfield. Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Above-average arm for class, quick actions, able to make throws from multiple angles, improved since last showing. Hit: RHH. Looks good in the box, toolsy athletic feel, struggled with timing and pitch recognition, projectable. Highlighted his batting practice showing with a well struck ball to straight away center; 91.5 mph exit velocity - 32.5° launch angle - 340 ft. Power: 90 mph exit velocity from the tee. Run: 7.24 runner in the 60.

PBR NORTHERN CA UNDERCLASS GAMES
Body: 6-foot-0, 167-pounds. Lean w/some strength and a streamlined well-proportioned body Hit: RHH. Balanced set-up, even weight distribution to start, hands held high, simple small-ish stride, hands sync'd well w/foot strike, explosive hip rotation, quiet to start while loading and creating torque, violent and aggressive through contact while maintaining bat control, given the tools/twitch in the swing as a 2024 he's got a bright future with the bat. Power: 85 mph EV off tee Arm: SS velo - 69 mph - An area to continue to improve, the arm is quick though with nearly straight over the top slot he could be leaving mph in the tank. Defense: Athletic feet, sees ball and reads it well, good angles, footwork is confident and the athleticism will play up the middle, the arm strength and ability to throw from different angles will have to be worked on to stay at SS as he moves through his HS years. Run: 7.49 60-yard

PBR Far North Preseason ID
Body: 5-foot-10, 154-pounds. Lean, strong, streamlined, physical young body Hit: RHH. Tall set-up, even weight distribution, balance throughout swing, stays behind ball, slight lift, fast hands, impressive bat speed/power for an 8th grader Power: 78 mph EV off tee (BP round showed better than this drill) Arm: RH - 72 MIF - Slightly deep backside, ball comes out well, raw arm will continue to improve Defense: Stays below ball, aggressive close on the ball, fields a bit deep, closed outside hip/foot when fielding ball, hands soft enough, looks like he will 'stick' his nose in there and make plays Run: 7.28 60-yard
