7/13/18 - Canales is an LMU commit that looks the part and backs it up. At 6-foot-3 185-pounds, Canales shows above average tools across the board with his big arm, nimble footwork, clean exchanges and excellent body control. At the plate he showed flashes of power while peppering the gaps with would-be base hits. With continued physical development Canales should develop into a legitimate over-the-fence type hitter who excels defensively.
