Also a started on the football team at linebacker. On the mound he presents a deliberate delivery that he is able to repeat. Whips arm through a high ¾ slot consistently with fair arm speed after a full path in the back. Release point is out front as he lands in line to the target consistently. Fastball is average with hints of some run. Curveball is a show me pitch presently as it is a big, loopy pitch that he uses to mix his looks. Flashed a slider-like breaking ball in-game at 70-72 that was more of darting pitch than the true breaking ball he showed during his warmup pitches.
