at Granite Bay HS - Uncommitted; Lean athletic body, streamlined and strong; Run tool is a plus and plays both offensively and in CF, closed on hard hit sinking liner directly in front of him and made outstanding diving catch on a very difficult play, hands are quick at the plate and work inside, easy swing creates some surprising pop and ability to drive the ball, two deep and high F8s in this game that didn't give his speed a chance to pressure the defense.

PBR Far North Preseason ID - A really interesting athlete in the 2021 class, the 6-foot-0, 160-pound Wagner is lean and streamlined, with athleticism and athletic actions that show up all over the diamond. Offensively he's got real quick hands, good balance, understands his swing plane and swings easy, with hints of gap power. There is some upper body over-rotation that could be corrected to be more linear but the hit tools are quite good. The 60 time only gives more credence to what he can bring offensively. Defensively, if considered as an OF or SS alone, he shows well. He's confident in his glove skills at both spots and lets go of his throws with confidence as well, with an arm that rates at or near plus at either spot. Soft hands show up in the infield and really does a nice job of staying low and below the ball, utilizing his strong legs. As a UTL with offensive talents, this spring and following summer very well could/should bring college attention to him.

BAWS 2019 - Medium frame long throughout with lean strength and very quick feet (6.96 60yd). Tall stance keeping very high hands and flared elbows; pulls knob down with hands working back into pocket as he gains ground after front foot hang. Shows a fluid transfer of weight with some back hip drive through the baseball; quick trigger ready to attack pitches. Barrel works on level path with quick hands showing high two-hand finishes in full turns. Flashes some leverage on the baseball to create carry to the gaps and some pullside pop, but mainly stayed to hard line drives through the middle of the field (85 EV). 2 singles and a double showing ability to find the barrel during games with 2B having carry to the gap; easy athleticism (4.75T). Quick feet carry to OF where he can come get the ball with ability to play through the baseball and be on the move. Arm has mid-slot that can be slingy; limited usage of his lower half with throws in (80 MPH). Very projectable build with tools that can continue to make jumps; add strength to the frame and could see some major growth in those tools.

CBA Sacramento tryout - Lean and athletically biult 5-foot-11 145-pounds, sloped shoulders and good looking frame, has some tools that jumped out a bit, bat speed was one of them, short to the ball with the ability to stay behind it and drive to outfield, some nice swing angle that isn't too steep will allow for gap carry, aggressive nature, 77 exit velocity can and should climb with natural size and strength gains, good future with the bat, defensively plays with rhythm and pace, light bouncey feet, good angles, athletic infielder, bit of a longer arm action but not a huge issue with how he gets to is and makes the exchange, smooth hands and plays confidently, 73 mph throw across diamond and there is more down the road.
