Fall tournament - Impressive weekend for the uncommitted 1B/OF/LHP, wide shoulders, streamlined body type with good strength throughout at 6-foot-0 190-pounds, did good things with the bat and plays solid defense but it was on the mound where he stood out, looked to be just cruising on mound but gun showed 85-87 at times, then down to lower 80s at other times, there was some life through the zone and on the arm side good movement, changeup movement was late and took off away from the barrel/swing, showed feel of curveball that was usable to get back to the fastball, not a lot of mileage on him from talking to coach, it was by all accounts a breakout outing. To reiterate, his swings were impactful from gap to gap and he's got the ability to make consistently hard barrel contact, compact and quick swing with power potential and ability to make a lot of good contact.
