9/15/18 - Possesses a strong frame at 6'5" 200 pounds with broad shoulders, a long torso, and long, lean legs. He throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, features decent angles, and is fairly linear to the plate. His delivery is controlled and has some athleticism to it, but tended to lack balance as he seemed to be falling toward first base as he released the baseball. He has a fairly lanky build so he may need to work on his body control. His arm action was loose and repeatable with a long, fairly smooth arm circle. He featured a decent follow through, but could use some work on his extension and finish. He showed a two-pitch mix: fastball and curve ball. He threw both a four-seam and two-seam fastball. His four-seam featured some natural cut to it with some of it occurring at the plate while his two-seam flashed okay run, but was fairly straight. He can spin the curve ball a little, flashing decent bite with late break flashing fair shape and depth. He could get on top of the baseball a little more when throwing it as it tended to be up in the zone, but it was definitely his number one out and strike out pitch on this day. Both his overall control and command can be improved, as he tended to miss toward his glove side.
