PBR Norcal Uncommitted Senior Games - Wiry-strong frame with width in the shoulders at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds; space for frame to take on more. Baseball athleticism shows up all over the field with good range due to good reads/jumps in OF, ability to hop on the mound and compete in the zone and swings at the plate that produced consistent barrel contact. Top exit velocity of 86 mph is an area for improvement, as is 7.61 60-yard time. Showed a U-Shaped swing during BP driving liners into the gaps having the hard contact carry over to the games where he doubled into the LCF gap while squaring up two hard fly balls to LF/CF. The arm is loose and able to pull through the ball in the OF (80 mph velocity).
PITCHER - Long lean body with rangy proportions on a 6-foot-1 170-pound frame, good athlete on the mound, simple efficient delivery, short-ish stride, takes ball down to about mid-thigh on backside, in-line to plate with lead leg, maintains balance throughout the delivery and has ability to repeat, quick arm with mid-3/4 slot. Ability to pound the zone with fastball and spin the slider with sweep action just off the plate. As body evolves and strengthens he has a good chance to see a velocity spike and see his raw stuff get more lively. The slider is a bit soft to utilize as an out pitch but his feel gives him a chance to continue to develop that pitch as well.

CCB World Series - Long, tall and narrow, Vogan did a little bit of everything this weekend. At the plate he showed a longer windmill barrel that creates easy loft for the baseball flashing some pop with a HR to LF on Sunday. He covered well in the OF with a long arm that can make the throws. He pitched a CG on Sunday with a long loose arm moving cleanly to it’s 3/4 release while having a plus tempo and attacking hitters. FB 78-82 with angle to both sides of the plate. CB 75-79 with 11/5 shape showing late actions at the plate and feel for the pitch. CHG 72-73 showing some bottom. The frame still has some space and his ability to command the zone was solid.

BAWS 2019 - Long and lean frame with squared shoulders; chance for frame to add physicality to it without affecting profile (7.54 60 yd). Tall, narrow stance with ability to create lift from loose wrists; worked gap-to-gap and middle of the field with line drives showing a compact and level barrel (82 EV). Lots of hard contact during the game lining balls at fielders all over the field and putting together good AB’s swinging only at the pitches he could hit. Lateral quickness and agility in OF moving well and using his legs to follow through with a compact arm (83 MPH); regularly put the balls on the bags and infielders during workouts and games. On mound showed compact 3/4 release after hands work down staying at the waist; clean arm action as he stays tall on the mound showing shorter extension over average front knee. FB 78-80 T81 heavy usage to the arm side with some run up through the zone. CB 65-69 with slurvy break in 11/5 shape; showed small depth through the zone. Flashed more actions when fingers stayed on top instead of around baseball.
