NCA Underclass ID (RHP) - Medium frame with high waist and strength in upper half. Stands tall with hands at chest through wider side step using coiled front side with high front knee. Small glove tap as he moves down hill from back leg creating some momentum; controls front side staying inline, but will land closed and spin off front heel. Very quick arm with long swing to 3/4 release showing full finish. Athletic on the mound with the ability to repeat his mechanics; chance to be very impressive on the mound. FB 81-83 T85 with late life at the plate having pitch jump on the catcher. CB 70-71 with 12/5 shape and late action with small depth. CHG 76-79 showing short sink armside. SLD 71-74 late cut with tight spin mainly off the plate. Both SLD and CB have decent shape/actions with SLD being ahead right now and flashing above-average. CHG could be good 3rd pitch with some run flashing average or more.
N. CA Underclass ID (OF) - Tall stance at the plate with high back elbow. Keeps strong posture as he uses knee tuck to work from behind the baseball keeping hands tight to the body with quick hands allowing bat to drive through the contact in the zone. Regularly drove balls gap-to-gap with best swings allowing him to drive deep into oppo gap. Showed his strength in BP and EV (90 EV) testing from a lean and long tight muscled frame. Some athleticism in frame (7.45 60-yd) with ability to repeat swing and control body while in the OF. Very quick, strong arm showed carry to bases with throws regularly online (86 MPH). On hill showed online delivery where arm works cleanly with length out of the glove moving quickly to 3/4 release. FB 81-84 T85 MPH showed late life at the plate. CB 70-71 MPH had 12/6 break with tight spin from overhand actions allowing it to break late at the plate. CHG 76-79 MPH showed hard bottom out of FB look mainly using it arm-side in viewing. SLD 71-74 MPH with cut off-plate. Chance to be an above-average arm in OF or on Mound.
