BAWS 2019 - Medium frame with high waist and strong build (7.49 60yd). Balanced stance with even hands and flared elbows keeping the hands away from the body; rocks into load over back hip with hands having bounce staying back. Level path with longer barrel turn having one hand finish over back shoulder; strength in the frame added to ability to carry the gaps with some lift (84 EV). Hard 2B into LCF (4.85T), but also some swing and miss over the games played. Wide stance behind the plate with step and throw actions showing a clean release (2.08-2.19 Pop, 73 MPH). Defense was better in games than workouts showing fair catching skills and fringe blocking skills. Chance for some projection with the catching skills.
6/1/18-6/3/18 @ BAWS 2018 - Average build on well-proportioned body. Wide balanced stance with high back elbow; lowers hands in load with ability to drive balls to the pull side. Drove ball over head of centerfield, putting head down and letting athleticism show on way for triple. Also showed patience at plate willing to let pitchers work up pitch count. Average footwork with clean, quick transition (2.03-2.15 Pop); below arm that shows growth potential. More length than needed in running form, but showed ability to get out of box quickly and take extra bases when needed.
