Six-foot-2, 200-pound athlete with a high-waisted frame and wide shoulders. Hall offers a high ceiling as a left-handed power bat albeit with some obvious risk as well. From a physical standpoint, he profiles well as a L/L corner OF prospect with above average power and slightly above average arm. He doesn't get down the line great (4.40 - 4.50) but he's a much better runner once he gets underway. In BP, he started his rounds off by peppering oppo-line drives with easy, relaxed effort. Hands stay tight and let the ball travel before he whips his barrel into the zone with effortless bat speed. Then, in the later rounds he really cuts it loose and starts launching majestic, tape measure shots to his pull-side. His lower hand placement and upright stance give him easy lift when he catches the ball out front. A strong lower half helps him brace up at contact and gives him major leverage to work with. The swing path does make him susceptible to velo up in the zone and there will likely always be some swing and miss as a part of his offensive game. In game, there were a few takes where he got caught flat footed and really showed no intent of offering at some called strikes, indicating he might check off on certain pitches too soon or get caught guessing occasionally. He was mainly a free swinger on this look, attacking early in most counts and looking to do damage with his swings. Might have been a little 'pull happy' as virtually everything put in play was to the right side of second base. Finished three-for-nine in the first two games with a home run, two triples, no walks and two strikeouts. The triples are a bit misleading as both were ground balls that hugged the RF line. But it did show his ability to get moving on the bases. Defensively he's serviceable in right field and his arm showed well in pre-game with a clean, continuous arm path and whippy finish. He gets tremendous carry and accurate ball flight throughout his throws. Currently in the midst of his best offensive season at Oregon (.304/.409/.608), Hall could be turning the corner and starting to tap into the offensive upside that he has flashed since his prep days. There is some inconsistency at times but he offers enough long-term potential and tools where teams likely call his name in the third-to-fifth round range later this summer. (Dan Jurik)

Cape Cod- An athletic, high-waisted outfielder who wraps into a long swing from the left side. He showed doubles power and was an above-average runner underway with average arm strength from left field. After a rough start to his Cape season, he has caught fire as of late, boosting his season slash to .260/.367/.403.

2019 Point Loma 1B, 6-foot-3 195 pounds, L/L. Drove in 4 runs for the Pointers, including a bases clearing double off the right field fence. Continues to show power to the right side. Does a really good job keeping his hands low, allowing for a quick strike approach and good projectability with next level velocity. Division 1 college offers are beginning to stack up along with pro coverage ahead of the 2019 MLB Draft.

2019 Point Loma (San Diego, CA) first-baseman is listed at 6-foot-3 195 pounds and is currently uncommitted. Throws left and hits left. Strong-athletic build, broad shoulders, long arms and legs, projectable with room for added strength. Underwent Tommy-John surgery and missed the 2018 season. Runs at an average clip for size and position. Showed good fielding technique and ability to pick at first base. Ranges well and looks the part. Arm strength looks average and could improve as he strengthens and moves on post-surgery. Sets up upright with his front foot slightly open and hands held low. Pre-pitch load is relatively quiet with a front leg lift and plant. Fires his hands straight to the ball and creates bat speed with fluid hip drive and strong upper half. Currently hitting 357 with a 1.150 OPS 11 2B 2 3B 4 HR. Swing path and hitting approach has shown a heavy pull emphasis. Struggles with pitches away showing a tendency to lean and pull pitches away which have resulted in ground balls to second base. Opposite-field hitting ability will need to be developed in order to make the next step. Hands are quick enough to catch up on pitches in and has punished fastballs located on the inside part of the plate. Current and future power potential, left-handed, defensively and athleticism are adequate at the next level making for an interesting 2019 uncommit and name to watch down the line.
