1/5/19 – SoCal Preseason All-State. Uncommitted. Seguine is no longer committed to Utah Valley State (confirmed). The 5-foot-9, 155 lb. seniors game continues to grow. Seguine looks hungry for his next opportunity, and it shows. Demonstrated a gap-to-gap approach in batting practice round with hard contact to the gaps. Maintains his barrel on a consistent path through the hitting zone. Exhibited a clean crisp groundball session where his athleticism was on display in his clean, crisp footwork and exchanges. Arm strength profiles for a move to second base. Throws were accurate to the bag.

1/5/19 - SoCal Preseason All-State Quick Hits - Seguine opened the event running a 7.08 60 yard dash before showing off his twitchy strength at the plate during BP. Uses a back leg load with a medium leg lift trigger before driving his fast hands into the ball. Showed the ability to spray line drives to all fields registering an 82 mph exit velocity. Defensively he has smooth actions and quick feet with a strong accurate arm across the diamond.

9/15/18 - Displayed instinctive actions and a feel for the baseball at shortstop, third and second base. He came through ground balls well, presented nice footwork around second base with a fair pivot, and demonstrated a quick release/transfer of the baseball. He took nice angles to ground balls, and displayed decent quickness and agility on the infield. He featured slightly below average arm strength, but his arm is quick and plays up because of it. At the plate Seguine displayed a quiet, controlled approach with a swing that is short to the baseball and quick through the zone. He seems to have nice bat to ball ability and be a contact oriented hitter. He was fairly quick out of the batter's box and seemed to possess big-league average run speed once underway. He possesses a small frame standing at 5'9", but has a lean, athletic build to his body.

2/24/18 – Utah Valley University commit. Small, strong frame. Plenty of room for continued physical development. Seguine displays a quick bat and a pronounced leg kick. His power numbers will come in the form of 2B's. Exhibits sound defensive actions, proper arm action, soft hands and ability to turn the double play. Not a true base stealer but has first step quickness and more than adequate speed to disrupt pitchers. In the double header Vs. Banning HS, Ca. Seguine finished 3 for 7 with a 2B, 2 RBI's & 2 K's.
