Physical and athletic, squared up frame with length and strength; could still add some more once full maturity (7.13 60yd). Slight crouch keeping hands tight and very high back elbow; high front knee keeping weight in the back hip showing ability to snap barrel through the zone. Compact, upward barrel showing lag through the zone and the ability to have balls jump to the gaps; lower half helps drive through contact (90 EV). Quick feet and transfer getting ball to ear easily; arm has quick release and ability to keep it on the bag (75 C, 1.89-2.01 Pop).

PBR CA STATE GAMES - Physical and athletic in large, wide frame; projects well for next level. Balanced, even hands with high back elbow; bat works upwards through the zone picking up a double into LF. SHowed strong catch and throw skills from behind the dish and presented well (2.08-2.20 Pop). Injured his thumb early in the games limited the view.

Booth has an athletic frame; strong body. Has a gap-to-gap approach, makes consistent contact and uses the whole field. Has a loud bat and has pop in the bat. Has warning track power as he hit two ball over the center fielders head. He has quick feet and a medium stride recorded 12 second time to third base. Seem to have a strong arm of the reports I’ve been hearing from coaches. Showed to be an athlete and able to play multiple positions. His bat plays as he has some strength from the right side and able to put a ball out. Booth recorded 2 hits on Sunday one double and one triple.

Uncommitted. Booth’s work behind the plate did not go unnoticed, and with consistent 2.0-throws between innings, he should be able to help a program at the next level. He features looser hips with soft hands as a receiver, and worked hard to help his pitcher which included blocking well all game. At 6-foot-1, 195-pounds, he has a thicker frame with some durable strength, and gets into it well at the plate from the right side. It should be noted that he carries a 4.1 GPA with a 1350 SAT score, so high-academic schools may want to get eyes on him throughout the summer.

SoCal Preseason All-State - 6-foot, 195-pounds, Strong athletic build with little physical projection remaining. Hitting from the right side, Booth has a nice line drive swing with good extension. Hit the ball hard in his BP round where he drove the ball to all fields. Very advanced approach at the plate. Registered one of the highest exit velocities (91mph) out of the catchers. Behind the plate, he presents a large frame behind the plate where he has good receiving skills. Anticipates where the pitch is going and has quiet soft hands. Shows a quiet, balanced setup and is quick out of his crouch in an athletic position. Very solid player overall, and will be exciting to follow this spring.

SoCal Preseason All-State Quick Hits - Booth impressed with his athleticism from the outset when he ran a 6.80 60 yard dash. He carried that into his BP round where he sprayed line drives to all fields before registering a 91 mph exit velocity. He's big and strong at 6-foot, 195-pounds and shows very good tools behind the plate where he's quiet with his body and has soft hands. Sticks it well and receives without giving away pitch location. His all around game should make him a desirable prospect during the spring playing on a loaded Laguna Beach team.

Booth will be an intriguing player to follow because of his current skill set and projection behind the plate. Booth provides a large target with broad shoulders upright in his low, quiet crouch. Shows effective catch-and-throw skills with pop times in the 2.02 - 2.15 range. His footwork is sound and his arm is accurate. At the plate he's aggressive and shows feel for hitting. There's plenty of physical projection left for Booth as well.
