A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Positional Profile: 2B/SS Physical: 5-10, 160-pounds; Lean, proportional build. 7.66 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a compact swing path with two handed finish. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 90 MPH via Trackman. Quiet load, fires nearly from preset position, gets to balanced contact out front, sees ball well, good barrel control and consistency. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are soft while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. SS - 71 MPH. Sets up to get throws off quickly, clean mechanics with fair range, sets up with angles to get off in-line throws though can develop more carry.

Positional Profile: SS/2B Body: 5-10, 155-pounds. Lean frame, squared shoulders, length in limbs; athletically built. Hit: RHH. Taller posture with rhythm keeping lower hands through bigger leg kick; can get backside through well and stuck behind the baseball. Regularly worked middle of the field with hard liners Short path, stays level with slight upwards finish. Loose and easy and repeats it well. Power: 90 max exit velocity Arm: RH. INF - 74 mph. Gets to high slot very quickly, fluid hand speed out front suggests more velocity in near future. Quick Release. Defense: Athletic and loose at the position, can range around the SS position and make multiple plays Run: 7.49 runner in the 60

PBR NORTHERN CA UNDERCLASS GAMES
Body: 5-foot-8, 140-pounds. Trim & lean, athletic build, young body w/room to add strength Hit: RHH. Tall set-up, fairly narrow feet w/slightly open front foot, medium knee lift, good rhythm and syncing of load of hands, some lead arm bar creates some length, hand/bat speed is good, balance is good, given his modest size/youth and his ability to generate good bat speed he looks to have a bright future with the bat through his HS years. Power: 84 mph EV off tee Arm: SS velo - 67 mph - Arm will play well at 2nd base and even given the present arm strength he showed the ability to make throws on the move Defense: Bouncy and light feet, good angles, soft glove w/quick release going to both his right and left, looks like he enjoys the defensive side w/confident actions and field presence, development of raw arm strength will determine whether he's at 2B or SS through HS years. Run: 7.69 60-yard
PITCHER
Delivery: RHP - Athletic delivery, comfortable on the mound, relaxed hands set off his chest, creates and maintains rhythm and hand/feet coordination throughout delivery, high easy knee lift, stride is on line, some slight heel land at slight open foot strike, finishes in good fielding position. Arm Action: Short backside arm action, minimal arm swing, calm out of glove, gets to high-3/4 release, quick-ish arm speed that should incrementally increase as he gains physicality FB: 64-69, T70 mph - Avg 1797 RPM, T1908 - Strike throwing ability, some arm side run, quicker than the velocity which is due to quality extension and true rotation creating spin, just enough movement on arm side to get just off the barrel CB: 58-61 mph - 1733-1857 RPM - Showed feel of 11/5 type breaker, kept down, hints of spin that can develop more bite as he ages
