Pilgrim has size in his favour at 6-foot-1 195LBS but tends to cut himself short in his load. When he stays fluid and connected in his swing, he has shown some excellent pop with the bat and sprays low line drives with backspin to the gaps. Defensively, Pilgrim had the highest positional velocity among catchers at 72 MPH on the day.
