Turner showed sound footwork and clean hands while taking ground balls, putting himself in good positions to make plays. Improvements to his footspeed will help him make some significant strides as a middle infielder. At the plate, Turner showed a clean, repeatable swing with good balance throughout. The lower half turns efficiently, and he keeps his hands quiet until launch. Could show some power potential in future years as he gets stronger.

On the mound, Turner has simple mechanics with a higher leg lift and a smooth arm that unwinds easily. He lived in the mid-70s with his fastball from a high arm slot and showed some good shape to his breaking ball, lots to build on in years to come.
