Comments
10/10/18 - Big 6-foot-4, 220-pound frame with broad shoulders, and a thick lower half; young body. Relatively new to pitching. Uses full windup delivery, generally landing closes and never fully clearing his lower half until after release. Lower half mechanics cause him to cut off delivery and miss almost exclusively to the arm side with FB/CH. Mostly straight fastball sat 76-77 mph. 67-68 mph curveball showed consistent rotation and varying shape; he was generally around the zone with it. Also mixed in 72-73 mph changeup below the zone.
