6-foot-3 170-pounds, long lengthy frame, projectable body, above average athleticism. We have been able to see Schiefer on several occasions since the HS season started. After starting the spring working mostly 85-88mph with his FB, hes improved those numbers after the shutdown with some added strength. Schiefer shows a quick easy arm from 3/4 slot. Worked his FB up to 93mph at 2550rpm at the Area Code Tryout in AZ. As of late, he's also been starting to throw his off-speed with more intent and added consistency, showing a 11/5 CV with late break & SL. Should continue to be one of the top arms in the state of Arizona to follow going into next years MLB draft.
