3/29/18 - 5-foot-9, 128-pound frame. Legit two-way prospect of run tool (8.01 60-yard dash) improves with physical maturation. Excels on the mound where he sat 75-76 mph with his fastball that tended to have late cutting action. Gets ball out of glove early, allowing himself to work downhill and be on time. Very clean arm action from ¾ slot. Legitimate 12-6 curveball at 60-61 mph that showed consistent rotation and was an impressive pitch, despite having a bit of a hump at times. 62-66 mph changeup was thrown with confidence, deep in hand and showed varying action at the plate, both cutting and fading at times. Offensively, showed ability to make hard contact out front, despite some length ins wing as he gets started very early with a slow, easy rhythm. Rocks body back to gather, with very short stride to get to separation. Solid 78 mph exit velocity for 8thgrade prospect. Defensively profiles best to 3B at present with lots of arm speed, from a short, ¾ action at 75 mph across the diamond. Fights playing high at times.
