A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball

Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
The highest Edge Score within the given year. Edge Score is a comprehensive score that takes the core-six visual skills into account, providing an assessment of an athlete’s overall visual ability.

Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
6-foot 190-pound frame, physical body with broad shoulders, good strength for age, he’s listed at the same as back january but looks noticeably bigger. Two-way player currently. Left-handed hitter. Starts in a strong squared base with handle deep in hands, slight separation. Uses an explosive forward move into heel plant. Gets bat onto swing plane fast with high rotational acceleration and above average bat speed. Good time to contact and power potential. Aggressive pull approach at 90mph exit velocity. Hit some of the hardest hit balls of the day in our live game action. Ok hands at first base with raw footwork. Ran an 8.0 60-yard dash. Also worked out on the mound, throwing from a higher slot with short arm stroke. FB sat 74-77mph with some cutting action. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball at 63-65mph. Left-handed power at the plate should be followed.

Barrel starts flat, loading a little more vertical pointing towards backstop. Uses hard forward move to create violent swing. Pull approach, turning barrel early. Hard contact at 85mph. Also pitched on the day. Early forward movement in raw delivery, collapsing on the front side. Throws with short arm action, pushing the ball to home plate. FB sat 71-75mph with some heaviness. CV showed gradual downer shape at 68-69mph. Future looks to be at the plate at this time. Physical left handed hitter should be monitored.

Transfers energy into backside with leg kick. Drives forward off back side violently with average body control. Natural pop with aggressive pull approach at 83mph. Stiff fielder that slows feet to field baseball. fields ball out front with sure hands. Average follow through with 62 mph velocity. Pitches with hunched over posture. Very short arm action, pushing the ball to home plate. FB sat 71-73, topping at 74mph. 12/6 CV with early short armed action. Also threw a CH. Although some rawness, overall physicality makes for a follow over next few years.
