Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
69.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The athlete's fastest 0-10-yard split time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.

60 Yard Dash
The athlete's fastest 0-60-yard time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
8.06
Top Speed (MPH)
The athlete's fastest split time converted to miles per hour.
RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
The highest Edge Score within the given year. Edge Score is a comprehensive score that takes the core-six visual skills into account, providing an assessment of an athlete’s overall visual ability.
The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Positional Profile: 1B/OF Body: 6-1, 145-pounds. Lengthy athletic build with room for added strength and size. Delivery: Low lift with minimal load into his backleg, does a nice job of getting down the mound. Arm Action: LH. HTQ slot with quick arm, with added strength should see increase in velo. FB: T71.6, 69-71 mph. Has good ASR but had attendancy to miss down. If he could start it at the middle of the zone and have it work away to a RHH that would play best. T1714, 1601 average rpm. CB: 61-63 mph. More of a 12/6 action, was able to land for strikes. T1767, 1674 average rpm. CH: 67-69 mph. Good movement but needs to work in the zone to be affective. T1347, 1308 average rpm.

Positional Profile: 1B/OF Body: 6-1, 145-pounds. Lengthy athletic build with room for added strength and size. Hits: LHH. Slightly open stance with hands held close to the head with slight bat movement. Hands work back with good seperation, had a flat path through the zone with a shoulder height finish. With added strength will see increase in EV and bat speed. Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 75.4 MPH. 264' max distance. Arm: LH. INF-65 mph.Over the top action. Defense: Plays with a wide base and does a good job of staying down on the baseball. Has good feel going side to side and working through the ball when fielding.

1B/OF Justin Payne (Sahuaro, 2024)
6-foot-1 145 pounds. Has matured some since January. Seeing increase in strength and presence around the field. (Running) 8.02 runner in the 60 yard. (Offense) LH. Max EV 90. Max Dist 314. Sets up with an open stance with high hands. Athletic bend to the knees with good posture. Box presence is good. Uses an up and down stride that can tend to hang a hair too long. Gets stuck on his back side at times. Added strength and body control will increase barrel consistency. Gets to the top half of the ball. (Defense) LH. IF velo 66. Athletic at the 1B position. Simple and soft hands/glove work. Room for added fluidity while field, feet get stuck prior to fielding.
Pitching (LH)
Delivery: Slow and controlled out of the windup. Delivers from the right side of the rubber from an OTT slot. Delivery seems slightly more consistent out of the stretch.
FB: 71 mph (1618). FB stays true. Command was spotty on this day. Added strength and maturity should bring more velo. High IVB numbers, FB stays on plane. Could be effective at the top of the zone as velo rises.
CB: 65 mph (1940). Downward breaking CB. Lacked command on this day.
CH: 68 mph (1751) (-10.5 HM). Threw CH with FB arm speed. CH stays straight. Command lacked consistency. Misses were down.

Justin Payne, Sahuaro (AZ), 2024 Positional Profile: 1B/OF Body: 6-1, 145-pounds. Lengthy/athletic build, room to add strength. Hit: LHH. Upright stance, has some box presence. Hands are held tight to the ear with a high back elbow. Creates some separation with load, glides a little bit to stride. When on time and hitting from a balanced position, swing is simple and direct. Can struggle with timing, creates some barrel inconsistencies. Power: 81.8 max exit velocity, averaged 71.5 mph. 262’ max distance. Arm: INF - 69 mph. Throws from a high 3/4 slot. Timing to release is consistent with average arm strength. Defense: Stride direction and timing around the bag could use improvement. Simple actions with the glove with soft hands. Feet are active and put him in the right spot to field. Moves well laterally. Run: 7.31 runner in the 60. Long strides.
