2021 LHP Justin Hanson (Flagstaff)- 6-foot-5, 195-pounds, tall, lean body, balanced strength, some present athleticism, body stands out. Showed strong upside as a left-handed pitcher while learning to use his body. Athletic slow-tempo delivery from 3B side of the rubber, reaches into front foot strike at times. Throws with short arm action from an OT slot, high release. FB was thrown for strikes at 84-86 while topping at 88mph with more armside movement than you would think coming out of that slot & release, solid spin reaching just over 2400rpm. Mixed in a slider at 69-72mph that showed cutting action. Uncommitted left-hander should be followed going into spring.
