1/27/19 - 6 foot 152-pound frame with more room for strength. Starts with a square, narrow stance. Let kick to work into backside, loading hands at the same time. Pull approach with 83 MPH exit velo. Shows active feet in the infield during his approach to the baseball, with good pre-pitch hop. If he can continue his feet moving to field the ball, arm strength (80 mph) and release time will improve.
10/14/18 - 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame. Shows an intriguing combination of offensive ability and athleticism in his immature frame. Young turned in a 7.09 60-yard dash and 84 mph exit velocity with the type of swing that should produce as he fills out and adds strength. There's some work to be done on the infield, but it appears he could certainly handle LF if necessary (76 mph Arm Velocity)
11/12/17 – 5-foot-10, 142-pound frame. Shows good rhythm in the batter’s box and an advanced feel to hit with leg lift trigger. Does a great job staying behind and on plane with the baseball. Should develop gap power with increased physical strength; 75 mph exit velocity. Showed tendency to stop feet on defense, but is an athletic mover. Arm currently profiles best to the right side of the infield; 73 mph infield velocity. 7.37 60-yard dash. Bat is best tool and should continue to improve as his body matures.
