The 6-foot 165 pound southpaw can flat out pitch. He controlled every count in his 2 innings of work. He worked 80-83 with deception and above average command of his FB. Pair that with a 66-70 mph CB and 76-77 mph CH that he also commands, and you have the look of a pitchability LHP that will be ready to contribute to a college program as soon as he steps foot on campus. He will add velocity as he fills out and should be a highly sought after recruit.
6/12/19
6’ 160-pound frame with plenty of room for strength. The left-handed hitter has good rhythm throughout swing. Create good separation, keeping hands back as he moved forward. Gets lower half through, allowing him to stay in the zone. Middle approach. Exit velo at 87 MPH. From the outfield uses a pro step to get in line with target. Arm was up to 82, after pitching two days before so took it easy.
