6-foot-3 155-pounds, thin, long legs & arms, high waisted, limited strength, projectable body. Tall low effort delivery with limited leg use. Upright at foot plant, starting rotation early with some lateral truck angle. Throws with a short arm stroke with average arm speed from a ¾ arm slot, high release. FB worked 76-79mph with subtle cutting action with an average spin rate of 2020rpm. Mixed in a CH 65-66mph that also has some cut. Ahern has some upside on the hill, adding strength & intent to delivery.
