Medium 5’9” 155lbs build, compact body with some definition in legs. Repeatable delivery with smooth rhythm. Long loose arm action extending arm back towards 2B. Good body control through athletic finish. Commanded 3 pitches. FB sat 78-80mph with occasional run. Above average offspeed. SL at 64-66mph was tight with early shape. CH at 71-73 had some fade. Follow as he gets bigger and stronger.
5/20/18 - 5-foot-8, 138-pound frame. Two-way prospect showed a workable swing, starting with a very wide base, rocking back to load, before putting his foot down about where it starts. Loads elbow high with vertical barrel, making most of his contact towards the middle of the field; 74 mph exit velocity. Tended to field the ball deep in the infield, making throws across the diamond at 75 mph. Feet project best to corner infield spot. Also pitched, where he sat 70-73 mph with his fastball, using a compact delivery and long, clean arm action. Calls breaking ball a slider, but shows more curveball shape and velocity. Tending to pop up out of the hand some at 63-65 mph. 66-68 mph changeup was best pitch with sink and the ability to throw it around the zone.
