Was called on in a big spot in the middle innings and was tasked with keeping the Patriots in the game in a relief appearance. The 6-3, 195-pound right-handed junior ended up earning the win and finished the game after entering in the 4th inning, and turned in 3.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, BB & 4 K’s in an impressive stint. Pounded the zone at 86-87 mph consistently while working at a quick pace. Dictated the tempo on the mound and found a groove. Featured two breaking balls, one being a firm 75-77 mph slider (2538 rpm) and the other being a true 12/6 breaking ball at 69-70 mph (2300 rpm). Both flashed swing and miss against a right-handed heavy lineup. Pitched from a high ¾ slot with a quick arm stroke.
