Uncommitted. The right-handed pitcher was electric in his start on Saturday evening. Working with a dynamic three-pitch mix and keeping hitters off-balance from the start. Rudd was able to generate double-digit whiffs and rack up eight strikeouts over 5.1 innings of work. With the fastball sitting 83-85 MPH with arm-side movement. The curveball created depth and was shown at 72-74 MPH and the slider at 74-75 with late-bite and a max RPM of 2579. Rudd exuded confidence on the bump and had complete trust in every pitch resulting in the stellar performance on the mound. The uncommitted right-handed pitcher will be a name to watch come August 1st.
