6-foot, 160-pound projectable frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 93 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride just before his swing. Bat speed is above average and exhibits uphill swing plane. He Barreled up multiple balls with tons of loud contact. Line drive approach. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 84 mph; had a clean exchange and smooth footwork. Showed a consistent arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 7.06 in the 60-yard dash.

A 2022 prospect that has shown marked improvement over the last year and has become a much more physical player with added strength and weight. Even stance with the feet and a very simple approach as he keeps the front foot grounded the entire time. Does a nice job getting his weight to the launch position and the swing is well synced throughout. Was consistent with his middle of the field approach during BP. Very short with the hands. Athletic actions during defensive OF work and was 80 mph during the session.

Has added some nice size and strength since we saw him earlier this spring. Shows a very short approach at the plate as he doesn’t even pick up the front foot but did get his weight back to launch the swing and really got his back side through with the swing. Showed a nice middle of the field approach and really kept the barrel through the hitting zone. Defensively, he showed nice feel for the OF position and did a nice job attacking balls in front of him. The arm has definitely gotten stronger as he showed 82 mph from the OF as the ball really seemed to come out of the hand easily. Showed solid feel and actions in the OF with throw.

On the mound he showed a smooth delivery with a FB that reached 74 mph with some late action. The breaking ball showed over the top action and was a 2 plane pitch while the change up showed deception with similar arm action. Defensively he did a nice job working behind balls and getting rid of the ball quickly. The arm strength is adequate but was ultra accurate. At the plate, he showed a middle to oppo approach with good balance in the lower half. Showed nice timing with the load and a level path of the barrel through the hitting zone.
10.14.18 very good runner (4.43 H- 1B) that played the game to his strengths. Will continue to mature physically and get stronger in the next few years. Was fundamentally solid in OF drills tracking balls well and taking good angles to balls on both sides of him, fielding in a position ready to throw. His arm should continue to get stronger. Offensively, he appears to be a singles- type hitter which allows him to use his speed. A quiet load with the hands and a flat bat path leads to a lot of ground balls off of the bat. With his speed, this is his game. Had an IF single in the game and quickly stole 2B. Speed is his biggest asset.
9.23.18- showcased short arm action during OF drills with some arm strength, showed an early set up at the plate and a middle-oppo approach with consistent line drives during BP, tracked balls off the bat well, had a base hit during game play.
