11.11.18 Did a nice job creating movement on both pitches he threw as his fastball was up to 79 mph, and sat in the mid 70’s during his inning of work. His fastball had late life and really got in on some RH hitters, forcing contact off of the barrel. His breaking ball was 61-63 mph and took nice shape with some late depth vs. hitters. There is more velocity in the tank.

11.11.18 Showed nice feel and plus footwork at 1B. Very fluid actions around the bag with nice athleticism. Tall lanky body that can easily add more weight but the skills are very nice. At the plate, he had an event set up with the feet and used a leg kick approach to generate some juice off of the barrel. His slight tilt in the swing allowed for some tilted line drives during BP. Stayed in the middle of the field during BP and did a nice job of keeping the barrel through the zone. Was also 84 mph exit velo off of a tee.

9.9.18- an athletic 1B, he had good feet and good presence around the bag during the game. He was solid defensively during drills in the morning with above average glovework. At the plate, his approach consistently seemed to be middle to oppo with a little back side pop. On the mound, his fastball topped at 76 (sat 73-74) with some some late life while his breaking ball was 63-64 and showed some tight action. Really competed on the mound in the game.
