Physical ‘22 player that shows some present strength at the plate. Dalton starts with an open stance and a solid base in the lower half. He does a nice job using his lower half in the swing and keeps the hands and barrel inside the baseball. There is some tilt action in the swing plan with a pull side approach. Showed an exit velocity of 83 mph off of a tee. Behind the dish he showed a quiet approach and did a nice job of eliminating a lot of movement. The fundamental catch and throw skills are solid and the arm strength should improve over the next few years as he gets stronger.
