6-foot-2, 175-pound athletic frame. In the box, Buss clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Started in a tall stance with a small load, then used a quick stride before his swing. Had short rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels in his round. Gap to gap approach. Above average from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 81 mph; showed a natural exchange and consistent footwork. Some accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.92 60-yard dash. Showed the ability to handle the barrel very well in BP.
