Hit: RHH. Athletic stance using a short & quick stride. Upward plane with a clean barrel, ball jumps off the bat, gap-to-gap approach.
Power: 95.57 max exit velocity, averaged 88.38 mph. 311’ max distance. Showed juice to all fields during BP.
Arm: RH. OF - 82 mph. Long, loose arm with carry out of the hand.
Defense: Athletic outfield actions with a quick first step.
Run: 6.84 runner in the 60. Easy, clean mechanics.
6-foot-1, 165-pound athletic frame. Smooth at the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 95 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a compact load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed is explosive, has level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. Athletic from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 87 mph; showed a fluid exchange, and smooth footwork. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.73 60-yard dash. Above average on the mound, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed athletic balance point. Changeup (74-75 mph) was most efficient when pitched in sequence with his fastball. Produced a fastball that came in at 83-84 mph with a max of 85 mph; showed very consistent command and tailing action. Had a 12/6 curveball (68-71) that showed late action and consistent command. 2023 grad that showed several plus skills at the event.
