Smooth with the glove during IF drills and had an athletic, solid base. His feet showed athleticism and his glove work was slick. Showed some flash to his game and it seemed to be natural to him. Had a slightly open stance and used a toe tap approach to get his timing set. Had a connected swing and did a nice job of keeping the barrel in the zone. Slight tilt in the swing. Very nice skills that will continue to improve as he physically fills out.

A young player with long limbs that is still growing into his frame and should continue to develop as he gains strength. Offensively, he showed a flat bat path and slightly open stance with an easy load. Showed the ability to use the field in BP and had loud contact in game play. During IF drills, he presented his glove very early and did a good job of resetting his feet before the throw. Will be interesting to see his progression as he continues to add strength.
Bryson Santiago (2021 SS/RHP, Grissom HS) 6’0 145 lbs- defensively, showed off above average hands at SS during the IF portion of the workout. Posted an IF velo of 68 mph. Pretty good runner, ran a 7.27 60 yard dash. Offensively, drove the ball to all fields during his BP round. Swing was a bit disconnected, but was able to generate a nice launch angle with his bat path. Exit velo was 76 mph
