The 2025 OF/1B had one of the better rounds of BP at the Evolution Baseball Scout Day. At 6-foot-3, 170-pounds there’s plenty of room in his projectable frame to add strength. With a relaxed slide-step to get on time, he generates plenty of torque while maintaining controlled aggression. He primarily elevated back up the middle and to his backside gap, reaching a top exit velocity of 95 mph. Botticelli will be a player to follow this summer to see if that left handed swing translates to in-game success.
