Vennard impressed us back in December when we saw him at the Holiday Hitters event in Calgary. He showed impressive bat-to-ball skills with one of the more consistent rounds of the day. Since then, he has shown major growth with added strength and twitch in the bat. The added twitch to an already athletic frame allows to drive the ball with authority. With bat speed already north of 71 mph, we will only see that number, among other metrics, continue to improve.

Vennard is a 6-foot, 162-pound outfield/third-baseman out of St. Joe’s Academy with quick hands and impressive bat-to-ball skills. He had one of the more consistent rounds of the day, elevating balls back up the middle and to his pull-side gap, reaching a peak exit velocity of 89mph. As a 2026, Vennard has already shown maturity at the plate and will be a bat to watch as he continues to develop through the 2024 season.
