Listed at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, Higgins showed a fastball in the low 70's with consistent mechanics and a high 3/4 arm slot. During his outfield drills he attacked the ball aggressively with an accurate arm topping out at 78 mph. At the plate he would benefit from more intent in his swing as he relies on his hands heavily to get the bat around.
