Listed at 5-foot-10, 187 pounds, Kelly showcased his abilities as both an infielder and a pitcher. On the mound he threw a lot of strikes with his fastball showing the ability to repeat his mechanics and consistently get on top of the ball. His off-speed should continue to develop as he continues to throw more. At the plate Kelly used his hands to produce the majority of the power as his lower half does not fire as much as it could. He had an exit velocity of 80 mph but could see that number climb as he learns to use his body more efficiently.

10/29/17 - Listed at 5-foot-10, 187 pounds, Kelly features a repeatable delivery on the mound. He throws from over the top, getting good backspin on the ball. Kelly has the ability to fill up the zone. In the field, Kelly has good hands, gains ground toward his target as he approaches the ball. Bat shows some promise, recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph.
