On July 30th and 31st the Prep Baseball Wisconsin team hosted the Wisconsin State Games at the Rock in Franklin, WI. This invite-only event was for all high school classes (2025-28), and gave our staff a chance to get a look at nearly 200 prospects at the end of the summer.

TOP CATCHING PROSPECTS

1. Terek Verhage, Monona Grove High (WI), 2025 University of St. Thomas
Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 5-10, 178-pounds.
Hit: LHH. Wide setup, foot stays grounded, loads with rhythm, controlled but aggressive. Easy, flat path with extension, leverage to the pull-side, handsy and hitterish. On the barrel consistently throughout. 70.6 mph bat speed with 20 G’s of rotational acceleration.
