NEWCOMERS IN THE TOP-150

+ RHP Tavian Shramek (Blair-Taylor, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 47. Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...put together arguably the best showing on the mound amongst all pitchers during the event—tossing three scoreless innings in the process. The Blair-Taylor product stands at a strong 6-foot-1, 178-pound frame, throwing from a low ¾ slot. Shramek was a standout from the Western Wisconsin Summer ID, touching 88 mph with the FB at The Rock. The right-hander has a mature three-pitch mix and feel for the strike zone, racking up five strikeouts while allowing zero hits in three innings pitched. Shramek dominated with the help of a sharp SL, thrown in any count to keep hitters off of the barrel. The to-be senior spins the pitch between 2,100-2,300 RPM and located it consistently. He also mixed in a deceptive CH, thrown in plus counts—garnering swing and miss, too. It’s a complete arsenal that allowed him to strikeout 151 batters in the spring while only allowing one earned run for the Wildcats in 61 innings pitched. Shramek has elevated his status as one of the top right-handed arms in the 2025 class—competing at a high level against tough competition.”

Tavian Shramek [7/30/24]

+ OF/LHP Bennett Burke (IMG Academy, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 64. Here’s a report from the Milwaukee Summer ID [6/20/24]: “...turned in one of the better all-around performances on the day. The left/left outfielder started the day off by running the second fastest 60-yard dash time at a 6.86. During BP, Burke put together a loud round, the strong left-hander was producing easy pop off the bat leveraging baseballs out front. Burke had the highest average exit velocity of the event at 88.5 mph, with his max being 96.8. Metrically Burke’s swing is equally impressive with an average bat speed of 77.7 mph, with his peak bat speed measuring at 89.6. Defensively, the outfielder plays with athletic actions attacking the baseball with confident and efficient routes paired with an arm tat was up to 83 mph from the outfield.”

Bennett Burke [7/30/24]

+ OF Carson Sieler (Westosha Central, 2025; Milwaukee Area Technical JC commit): debuts at No. 78. Here’s a report from our staff’s Second Team All-State story [6/25/24]: “...The Westosha Central offense were tough outs all season long, led by the production turned in from Sieler in the leadoff spot. The centerfielder was the table-setter for the Falcons, as he hit .430 with 34 runs scored against tough non-conference competition, all while playing in the Southern Lakes Conference. Sieler was an on-base machine for Westosha Central—leading his team to the Division 1 State Semifinals in the process. Defensively, Sieler provided good looks throughout the season—establishing himself as an intriguing name-to-know in Wisconsin’s 2025 class.”

+ RHP Logan Zickert (Pittsville, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 93. Here’s a report from the Eastern Wisconsin Summer ID [8/19/24]: “...uncommitted senior arm that showed well Monday. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 161-pounds with a lean and athletic build, holding plenty of room for added strength in the future. He has an easy operation on the mound that uses his levers well, getting down the mound with extension and a clean arm that plays from a ¾ slot. His fastball sat around 82-85 mph, setting up both a curveball (65-67 mph) and slider (69-71 mph); missing up at times with both offerings but they show quality action when kept around the zone. His final offering was a changeup at 71-73 mph, flashing late dive.”

Logan Zickert [7/4/24]

+ LHP Eli Babler (St. Croix Central, 2025; Wisconsin-Parkside) debuts at No. 98. Here’s a report from the 17U Rock Summer Championships [8/1/24]: “...Long levers, 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame. On Friday, Babler was brought into the bottom of the seventh where he successfully closed the door without allowing a baserunner. In the brief stint, Babler topped his fastball at 86 mph from the left side and sat at 83-85 mph. Due to the short outing, Babler only tossed a minimal amount of off-speed, which was a tighter breaking pitch at 73 mph. With clear upside in the frame, Babler is an interesting uncommitted follow in Wisconsin as the summer circuit continues.”

+ RHP Jayden Forbes (Menomonee Falls, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 110. Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...has been a name-to-know since he broke out this spring for Menomonee Falls. The right-hander continued to impress throughout the summer with a standout performance at the Grand Park Summer Championships where he went six innings holding mid-80s with his fastball. In this look Forbes showed a three-pitch mix, with a low-to-mid-80s fastball that flashed carry and two offspeed pitches that he threw for strikes often. Forbes gets down the mound consistently and has feel to repeat his delivery with a loose arm action from a high release height.”

Jayden Forbes [7/30/24]

+ RHP/SS Kael Konrad (Hortonville, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 111. Here’s a report from the Appleton Summer ID [6/24/24]: “...compact 5-foot-7, 174-pound athlete that impressed throughout his workout on Tuesday. Konrad started his day off by running a 7.09 60-yard dash which was one of the best times of the event. At the plate, the right-hander swings with intent and has a knack for producing hard contact averaging 87.8 mph off the bat throughout his round, peaking at 94. In the field, Konrad showed some bounce in the infield with clean actions and quick movements with an accurate arm up to 83 mph across the diamond. To finish off his day Konrad authored one of the more intriguing ‘pens of the day. Konrad showed feel to use his lower half, extending down the mound and is able to do it consistently. Out of a full and quick arm action the baseball jumps out of Konrad’s hand. Four-pitch mix with a mid-80s fastball that averaged 16.8 inches of carry from a 5-foot release height spinning at 2400+ RPMs. Konrad showed feel to spin two different breaking balls, a 11/5 low-70s curveball that he spun at 2800+, and a mid-70s slider that he spun at 2700+ with 10.1 inches of sweep on average. Rounding off his arsenal, Konrad showed a mid-70s running changeup that he was able to throw for strikes. Konrad is a name-to-know going forward in the Badger State’s incoming senior class.

Kael Konrad [7/9/24]

+ INF Onyu Lee (Franklin, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 112. Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...scrappy prospect who stands at a 5-foot-9, 140-pound frame with more room to fill out. Lee enjoyed a strong spring as a Saber, translating to live action throughout the summer. In his first showcase appearance in front of our staff, Lee first ran a 6.97-second 60-yard dash time. The right-handed hitter proved to be a tough out throughout, consistently getting on the barrel while putting together long, competitive at bats. Lee is a steady defender with a strong, accurate arm that was up to 86 mph from across the infield. Made the routine plays in live action—showcasing his skill set at a high level. Lee has established himself as an intriguing follow who’s entering his final year of prep baseball this fall.”

Onyu Lee [7/30/24]

+ OF Ben Johnston (Kimberly, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 117. Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...left-handed hitting athletic outfielder standing at 6-foot, 162-pounds with more room to grow into his frame. Starting off the day, Johnston ran one of the top-60s of the event at 6.68 and jumped over 32 inches. At the plate, from the left side Johnston swings a fast bat driving the baseball through the middle of the field consistently.”

Ben Johnston [7/30/24]

+ RHP Zander Leick (Kaukauna, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 118. Here’s a report from the Appleton Summer ID [6/24/24]: “...uncommitted right-hander that showed well this past Tuesday on the mound. Standing at 6-foot, 182-pounds Leick works downhill and maintains direction towards home, armed with a quick arm action and a mid-80s fastball T86.1 mph with 19.2 inches of carry from a 4.9 release height, spinning his fastball at 2200+ RPMs. Leick showed three different offspeed pitches in this look, spun two breaking balls with similar action and velocity range. To round off his arsenal Leick throw a running changeup at 76-77 with similar action to the fastball.”

Zander Leick [7/9/24]

A strong and athletic frame at 6-foot, 208-pounds, Myers showed well with his left-handed bat during both the showcase and in-game portions of the event. He posted a max exit velocity of 93.8 mph while averaging 84 mph. In-game, Myers delivered some well-hit balls for flyouts and hits, including a single up the middle on an 87 mph fastball. He showed some speed, too, collecting a stolen base in the game.”

+ OF Eli Francour (Greenfield, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 132. Here’s a report from the Wisconsin State Games [7/30/24]: “...standout from the summer, showing well at the Milwaukee Summer ID to kick off the showcase circuit in the Badger State—maintaining his momentum this past week. Francour is a smooth mover in a 6-foot, 164-pound frame, first running one of the top 60-yard dash times at 6.71 seconds. After a strong performance during the BP session, Francour reached 84 mph from the outfield, all of which translating to live gameplay. Francour was on the barrel in multiple looks, including a line drive sprayed to the outfield. The to-be senior enjoyed a strong summer in both showcase and tournament appearances—rounding out a couple of months with a successful showing at the Wisconsin State Games.”

+ INF Ryan Stephen (Sheboygan South, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 134. Stephen is a physical prospect who stands at 6-foot-1, 211-pounds, with present strength throughout. The right-handed hitter showcased his easy power with a simple approach at the plate back in a showcase setting this winter. Over the summer, Stephen was consistently on the barrel in our staff’s tournament looks, driving the baseball to all fields after posting EVs in the mid-90s (T96 mph) during the winter. Stephen is a steady defender with the glove, making the routine plays with soft hands and an accurate arm. Has been up to 83 mph on the mound in the past, too.

The to-be senior recently committed after enjoying a strong spring and summer, presenting himself in an athletic 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame. Sandberg is a quality hitter from the left side of the plate, consistently showcasing the ability to spray line drives to the gaps. Sandberg has a quality feel for the barrel and is on time in his approach. The infielder is a smooth mover in all aspects of the game, priming himself for a strong senior season at Mondovi to cap off a solid prep career.

+ OF Brock Goral (Waukesha West, 2025; uncommitted) debuts at No. 143. Goral was a recent winner at the first-ever Wisconsin State Games, posting some intriguing numbers throughout the showcase portion of the day.
