PBR Wisconsin Pitcher of the Week: RHP Dylan Questad

For as long as our staff has been familiar with the 2023 class, RHP Dylan Questad (Waterford Union; Arkansas commit) has been a name towards, if not at the top of 2023 rankings board. All year long, the future Razorback has been dominant, and last week he may have put together one of his most impressive starts, which earned him ‘Pitcher of the Week’ honors, as a result.

The Southern Lakes Conference championship came down to the final game of the year, when then-ranked No. 13 Waterford Union took then-ranked No. 2 Union Grove, with the winner being crowned conference champion. In this game, Questad got the start for the Wolverines and across his five-inning, complete game gem, he punched out 10 and scattered just two hits to earn the win, leading to their first conference championship since 2015.

Questad hasn’t shied away from being one of the aces for this Wolverine pitching staff this season and he currently bolsters some eye-popping statistics. In conference play alone, he has struck out 60 batters to just 10 walks in 29.2 innings, and has only allowed eight hits while not allowing a single earned run. It is not surprising to see these kinds of stats from Questad as we have seen him run his fastball up to anywhere in the mid-to-high 90s, with two different breaking balls, and a changeup that rounds out his advanced four-pitch mix.
