On Tuesday, June 25th, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff traveled to The Rock in Franklin, Wisconsin to host the Madison Summer ID. The event hosted around 25 players from across the state and allowed our staff to get a closer look at these players to kick off the summer circuit.

Today we conclude the event with a look at all of the scouting reports from the day, including a look at the Top-5 prospects, ranked below.

RHP Brock Frye (Omro) is an unsigned senior that just missed the top-five below but deserves a mention from the event. The athletic 6-foot-1, 183-pound righty showed a long, loose arm that had armspeed out front from a ¾ slot. Frye tossed the event’s hardest fastball at 83.1 mph with over 13” of arm-side run on average. His curveball had more lateral action with a 10/4 shape, landing to the glove-side for strikes. He then turned to a 74-77 mph changeup at armspeed, showing sink at the bottom of the zone. Frye rounded out his ‘pen with a 73-74 mph cutter that flashed out-pitch potential, playing with depth across the zone with a 10/4 shape.
