Eastern Wisconsin Summer ID: Quick Hits

To cap off the summer showcase circuit, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff traveled east to hold the annual Eastern Wisconsin Summer ID.

There wound up being numerous standouts amongst the pool of prospects, many of which highlighted below. Check out their metrics and highlights, in addition to following along with more of our post-event coverage on our website.


POSITION PLAYERS

+ INF Tristan Hundt (Sheboygan North, 2026) is an athletic left-handed hitting infielder that impressed throughout Monday’s workout. At the plate, Hundt showed feel for the barrel and used the whole field throughout his round. In the field, Hundt moves easy from side to side with active feet and soft hands giving him a chance to stick up the middle, his arm plays with carry and makes accurate throws across the diamond.

+ OF Peyton McKinney (Grafton, 2026) is an athletic outfielder that took one of the better round of BP on Monday. Standing at 5-foot-10, 150-pounds with clear room for continued physical development. McKinney took a polished round finding the barrel often throughout, an athletic and low effort swing showing feel to leverage the baseball out front. Defensively in the outfield, McKinney is a natural defender with athletic actions and attacks the baseball with proper routes and sure hands, his arm played with accuracy and carry and was up to 80 mph from the outfield.

+ INF/OF Joe Landgraf (Hartford, 2025) is a strong 6-foot right-handed hitting infielder that showed well on Tuesday. At the plate Landgraf was on the barrel throughout, making loud contact often averaging 88.7 mph off the bat with a max exit velo of 96. Defensively from both the infield and the outfield, looking comfortable at both with an accurate arm the plays with carry from both spots that was up to 83 mph.

+ OF Joe Pirillo (St. Mary Catholic, 2025) is a powerful left-handed hitter that was responsible for the loudest round of BP on the day. During his round, Pirillo averaged 87.8 mph off the bat and had a max exit velo of 98 mph. Defensively, in the outfield Pirillo profiles at either corner with a strong arm that was up to 89 mph with carry, Pirillo flashed athletic actions and a pair of soft hands in the outfield.

+ INF Dawson Luther (Pittsville, 2026) was named Third Team All-State for his standout sophomore season for Pittsville. Standing at 5-foot-10, 179-pounds with strength throughout his frame, Luther performed well throughout the workout, the left-handed hitter took a notable round of BP spraying line drives across the field., averaging 85.5 mph off the bat with a peak exit velocity of 92 mph. Defensively, Luther showed steady actions in the outfield with an accurate arm up to 81 mph.


PITCHERS

+ LHP Gage Honeyager (Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, 2026) emerged as a must-follow arm from the event. He has a simple, stretch-only delivery that works into a medium balance point before moving down the mound with a drop/drive lower-half, staying in-line. His arm works long out of the glove in the back before transitioning into a ¾ slot with acceleration out front. His fastball stole the show, playing around 86-88 mph with carry and life that exploded through the zone, averaging 2,633 rpm in the process. His slider showed swing/miss potential with late bite off a 1/7 plane, playing around 74-77 mph with an average of 2,324 rpm. His final offering was a changeup that played with fade and feel to his arm-side at times, 76-79 mph. High-follow arm with a true three-pitch mix.

+ RHP Logan Zickert (Pittsville, 2025) is an uncommitted senior arm that showed well Monday. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 161-pounds with a lean and athletic build, holding plenty of room for added strength in the future. He has an easy operation on the mound that uses his levers well, getting down the mound with extension and a clean arm that plays from a ¾ slot. His fastball sat around 82-85 mph, setting up both a curveball (65-67 mph) and slider (69-71 mph); missing up at times with both offerings but they show quality action when kept around the zone. His final offering was a changeup at 71-73 mph, flashing late dive.

+ RHP Carter Tuerk (Arrowhead, 2027) proved to be one of the top arms from the event. Listed at a projectable 6-foot-1, 166-pounds, the right-hander is an athletic mover that works into a high balance point, moving quickly down the mound while working in-line. His arm is quick out of a high ¾ slot, playing long and loose on the back end. His fastball cruised around 81-84 mph, topping out at 85 mph with carry and mostly straight actions. His curveball showed to have some depth off an 11/5 plane, landing it for strikes at 67-69 mph. His changeup has potential to be a quality third offering, playing similar out of the hand to his fastball with developing feel, 72-75 mph.

+ RHP Ethan Hibicke (Sussex Hamilton, 2025) showed well throughout his ‘pen on Monday. Listed at 6-foot, 197-pounds, the right-hander has a controlled, simple delivery with a medium balance point and tall/fall lower-half. His arm is loose and quick, delivering his arsenal from a ¾ slot. His fastball played clean out of the hand around 81-82 mph, topping out at 82.6 with carry and over 14” of run at times. His slider showed above-average lateral action at times, playing at 68-70 mph with some feel for the zone. He showed a splitter as his third offering, flashing above-average downward action with some feel for strikes, 75-76 mph.

+ RHP Avery Mosloski (Oshkosh West, 2026) had one of the stronger arms in attendance Monday. The right-hander cruised around 80 mph for most of his ‘pen, but reached back to 84–85 mph towards the end to go along with carry and slight run. He showed a knack to spin the breaking ball, sitting at 64-70 mph with over 2,400 rpm at times. His last offering was a changeup with 100% spin efficiency, playing at 68-71 mph with over 16” of run at times.
