On Sept. 23, our staff hosted Senior Games at Kapco Park in Mequon, Wis., an invite-only showcase for the area’s top uncommitted seniors. We’ve already published the event’s Statistical Analysis, and we’ll have position-by-position breakdowns a little further down the road. Until then, check out some of the showcase’s top unsigned prospects who merit mentioning over the next couple of weeks within this spotlight.

Mukwonago 1B Ben Siekierski (2019) is a top-100 prospect in Wisconsin’s senior class, mostly for the kind of hard line-drive contact he makes from the right-handed box. Standing in at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Siekierski is working with noticeable strength in his hands and forearms that help him generate loud barrels on a short and fluid path to the baseball. He produced one of the highest exit velocities in Mequon at Senior Games, too. On defense, Siekierski is likely tied first base where he shows some athleticism around the bag. His has the reliable handiwork to further grow into the position as well, while his bat carries him to the next level.
