EVENT HISTORY
Despite last year being our first year holding this event, it provided us with a handful of names that earned spots inside our rankings and also roughly 15 players made commitments following this event as well. As we get closer to Saturday, our staff is excited to get updated looks at prospects we have seen in the past while also meeting a handful of new ones.
From last year's crop of prospects, names like 1B Keegan Norton (Greendale, 2022; Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota) and 1B/RHP Michael Zordani (Arrowhead, 2022; Wisconsin-Parkside) were some of the day's biggest winners and both made their commitments shortly after the event. Some other prospects who generated some buzz following this event were OF Calvin Keesler (Xavier, 2022; St. Olaf College) OF Logan Des Lauries (Oconomowoc, 2022; Wisconsin-La Crosse), who also made a big splash in our final 2022 rankings and landed himself at No. 70.
We're looking forward to checking in on the next crop of talent from this event to earn next-level attention in the coming weeks, months, and years.
2022 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.
This will be our staff's first time seeing newly ranked UTL Bryce Erdmann (Manitowoc Lincoln) since he made his rankings debut at No. 124. Erdmann is an interesting LHH infielder with upside in his 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame. One of Erdmann’s best performances in front of our staff came at the PBR Badger State Games where he repeatedly found gaps throughout the entire weekend. Erdmann comes into this event as the highest ranked player in attendance, and our staff is excited to get an updated look at this uncommitted prospect.
Bryce Erdmann (3/19/22)
UTL Jack Peterson (Southern Door) is another ranked prospect that will be in attendance on Saturday and he also made his rankings debut at No. 150. He earned this spot on our ‘23 rankings after a solid performance at our Western Wisconsin Open back in June. There, the 6-foot, 185-pound prospect started his day off with a 6.86 60-yard dash and then followed it up with one of the best rounds of BP of the day. From the LH batters box, Peterson consistently lofted balls to the entire field and registered a 96.4 mph max EV on his hardest hit ball of the day.
Jack Peterson (6/8/22)
We haven’t seen INF Cooper Kuemmel (Muskego) in a showcase setting in some time now but he is set to make an appearance on Saturday. Kuemmel is listed at an athletic 6-foot, 180-pounds and he performed well throughout the summer circuit offensively. In the right-handed box, Kuemmel works from an open stance and pairs it with bat-to-ball skills that allow him to tally base hits to the entire field. After a successful summer for this uncommitted prospect, we are eager to see how Kuemmel performs in a showcase setting.
Perusing the event roster, we’re set to meet a majority of players who’ve not yet attended a PBR showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.
