Scouting Report
Carson’s a lean athlete with a strong lower half. Running his fastball up to 88 with a simple and balanced delivery. More of a tall and fall drift, with a quick and late hand action. Releasing from a low ¾ slot, and generating up to 20in of horizontal action on the fastball. The curveball carries high spin rates as high as 2500 RPM at Top Prospect MKE. While the shape and feel for release is still under development, the pitch could be harnessed as a real weapon. Caron’s changeup has above average movement with both run and sink. Overall, an interesting athlete and arsenal.
