Watson is one of the top two-way prospects in the Midwest and put that on full display at the 2015 ProCase. He has a strong arm from the outfield and runs a 6.97-second 60. He is slightly crouched in his set-up and takes a smooth, easy swing from the right side. While he’s more known as an outfield prospect, he’s begun to emerge as a legitimate prospect on the mound. He works from a high-3/4 slot and has a quick, athletic arm action. His fastball topped out at 89 mph last summer, sitting at 87-88. His mid-70s curveball has the makings of being a swing-and-miss pitch, as he throws it aggressively with sharp, late action and quality depth.
